Around 2,500 volunteers followed the invitation to their official kick-off on 4 June, and thousands more tuned in via livestream.

The excitement and anticipation are rising: In just over two months, the European Championships Munich 2022 will begin, with 177 decisions for European gold, silver and bronze. The large number of thrilling competitions is also reflected in the increasing ticket sales. The organisers are already reporting the first sold-out medal decisions.
