The participating sports of the multi-sport European Championships came together to confirm their long-term commitment to the new generation event and discuss how to build on the success of Munich 2022 over the next three editions (2026, 2030, 2034).

The President of the Union Européenne de Cyclisme, Enrico Della Casa, today signed a long-term agreement with European Championships Management (ECM) confirming the presence of Cycling in the sports programme of the 2026, 2030, and 2034 editions of the European Championships.

Munich 2022 local organisers have published their final sustainability report, with all German stakeholders united in hailing the ‘great success’ of the new generation multi-sport event’s environmental, social, and economic sustainability initiatives and impact.
