ECM represented at Host City 2021 Conference
ECM Co-Founder and Co-Managing Director Paul Bristow was invited to speak on sporting event impacts at the Host City 2021 Conference in December. Bristow took part in a workshop on ‘Defining event impacts and promoting positive outcomes.’ It followed ECM’s key contribution to a report by the ASOIF, which, for the first time, establishes a set of common indicators for event stakeholders to cost-effectively assess the value of sporting events.

Ready for Klein, van der Poel & Co.: Road cycling routes announced for European Championships Munich 2022
Road Cycling routes for European Championships Munich 2022 have been announced. The women's race starts in Landsberg, the men's in Murnau. Both races will connect the two tourist attractions, city centre and surroundings, leading through the foothills of the Alps to the finish line at Odeonsplatz. The time trial events will be held in Fürstenfeldbruck.
‘Back to the Roofs’ – More than a claim
Around 14,500 events have taken place in the Munich Olympic Park since 1972. This makes Munich's landmark an event location and meeting point with a glorious past, a vibrant present and a bright future. From 11-21 August 2022, the park will once again be in the spotlight: By hosting the European Championships Munich 2022, Munich will welcome the biggest sporting event since the 1972 Summer Olympics.
