Romania could add three more Glasgow 2018 European Championships medals to their tally of five when the Rowing concludes at Strathclyde Country Park on Sunday.

Romanian crews race in the lightweight women's double sculls, men's double sculls and the men's eight.

Their best chances of medals are in the lightweight women's double and men's eight.

In the former event, Romanian World Champions Ionela-Livia Cozmiuc and Gianina-Elena Beleaga line up alongside Dutch Olympic Champion Ilse Paulis and her partner Marieke Keijser, as well as 2017 European Champion Weronika Deresz (POL) together with her new partner Joanna Dorociak.

The Romanian men's eight must challenge European and World champions Germany for the title. The German eight held off a Romanian charge to the line in Thursday's heats and this event is Germany's best chance of a medal in Glasgow.

Sunday's racing also features the final of the lightweight men's double sculls. All six finalists posted similar times during Saturday's semi finals and although Olympic bronze medallists Are Strandli (NOR) and Kristoffer Brun (NOR) have been the quickest crew so far, anything could happen in the dash to the line.
